Japan is mostly covered in mountains. Japan is covered with 80% mountains. And a total of 18,032 mountains. The biggest mountain is mount fuji in the island of Honshu. The smallest mountain is tempo mountain and it is also on the island of Honshu. The most mountains is on the island of Honshu forming a ring of fire (a bunch of volcanic mountains in a circle.
